Michael E. Wolf, 60 of Sycamore died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital.

He was born Sept. 19, 1951 in LaCrosse, WI. The son of David E. and Ruth (Rebhan) Wolf. He received his associate degree Electronics and later received his business/finance degree. He married Terri White on Feb. 2, 2004.

Mike was employed at Lucent in Genoa, retiring after many years of service. He was currently working for H&R Block. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed working on various puzzles, especially crosswords.

Mike is survived by his wife, Terri Cole of Sycamore; his mother, Ruth Wolf of Portage, WI; one step son, Jeff (Wendi Birchler) Cole of Denver, CO; 3 brothers, Gary (Kathy) Wolf of Dallas, TX, Gregory (Carol) Wolf of Ronaldo Beach, CA and Robert (Pat Oelke) Wolf of Fall River, WI; and 4 nieces and nephews, Tara (Mark) McClure, Tracy Dushane, Jeff (Nicki) Wolf and Ashley Wolf.

He was preceded in death by his father and one son, David Michael Wolf.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 23 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory in Sycamore, with a Service beginning at 3:00 PM.
