Sharon A. Chyson, 64 of Sycamore, formerly of Roselle died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital.

She was born June 1, 1947 in Lackawanna, NY. The daughter of Joseph and Clara (Schiele) Kelly. She married John Chyson on April 18, 1993.

Sharon was employed at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in the accounting department for many years. She was a member of St. Catherine of Genoa Church. Sharon loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her husband, John of Sycamore; one daughter, Kelly (Chris) Akerberg of Crystal Lake; one son, Christopher Monckton; one step son, Greg Chyson of Sycamore; three grandchildren, Ally, Kevin and Elena Akerberg; two step grandchildren, Jason and Justin Chyson; and one brother, Gerald Kelly of NY.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, May 10th at 10:30 AM at the St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 340 S. Stott Street in Genoa, with Fr. Timothy Seigel officiaiting. Burial will be at St. Catherine Cemetery.

Her Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2:00-8:00 PM at the St. Catherine Church, with a scripture service being recited at 7:30 PM.
