Florence A. Kula, 86 of Sycamore, formerly of Chicago, died Feb. 29, 2012 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb.
She was born April 18, 1925 in Chicago. The daughter of Andrew and Frances (Pawlik) Kwiecien. She was married to Michael Joseph Kula.
Florence and her husband were the owners of Club Bambi in Chicago for over 30 years. She enjoyed playing Bingo and Bunko, but her grandchildren were the love of her life.
She was the loving mother of Diane Grzywacz (Bill Gierut) of Oak Forest and Janice (Michael G.) Butala of Sycamore ; dear grandmother of Bradley and Dana Grzywacz and Michael J. and Gina Butala; fond sister of Irene Staszak, Andrew (Marianne) Kwiecien.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael in 1979; and one sister, Virginia.
Her Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00-3:30 PM with a funeral service beginning at 3:30 PM at Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL 60178.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 5th at 11:00 AM at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Il.
